Mentrax Refinery takes pride in its ethical and strategic approach to gold sourcing. The company partners with both small-scale and large-scale mining operations across Africa, ensuring a reliable and diverse supply of raw gold dore.
We source gold from both the large and small scale licensed companies; mainly from the Mentrax Mines in Ghana and elsewhere on the African continent, for either internal consumption or purchasing on behalf of (external) third party-buyers. These third party buyers contracts with us and commit funds to our Refinery to do the purchases (gold sourcing) in their stead, due to our expertise, our supplies sources network and diligence on the Ghanaian and African market. We buy gold bars for onwards supplies/exports to end buyers resident in Ghana and other jurisdictions in return for a minimal agreed commission on the transactions payable to Mentrax Refinery.
